VERO BEACH — On Saturday, April 27, the Chobee Smashers played in the Softball for Life Tournament. After going 3-0 for the day they headed to the semifinals. Chobee was down 2-9, 2 outs in the last inning but they rallied and came back scoring 7 runs to tie the game sending them to a Texas Tie Breaker! On their last at bat they pulled out the WIN at 11-10! They headed straight to the finals where they continued to play their hearts out but fell short at 2-3, bringing home second place in the Gold Bracket! The Smashers finished as a runner up after being at the fields for 14 hours!
