HENDRY COUNTY -- A West Palm Beach man was killed in single-vehicle crash on State Road 80 in Hendry County on Sunday afternoon, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
According to FHP, at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 3, a Sports Utility Vehicle was eastbound on SR 80, approaching US 27 when the driver failed to stop for a traffic control device. The SUV then collided with a lane barrier and utility pole and overturned into a canal.
The driver, a 28-year-old West Palm Beach man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
