Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Wayne Adams, 60, Mayberry’s Mobile Home Park, was arrested March 12 by FDLE officers and charged with 10 counts possession of child sex material. Bond was set at $500,000.
  • Gilberto Tagle, 30, Northwest First Street, was arrested March 8 by OCSO Deputy Karson Reno and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $51,000.
  • Robert Barton was arrested March 8 and charged with two counts possession of prescription drugs without a prescription.
  • Keith Woods, 62, Northwest 20th Street, was arrested March 12 by OCSO Deputy Christopher Tullio and charged with fleeing law enforcement while lights and siren are active and habitual driving without a license. Bond was set at $20,000.
  • Arturo Vieyra Rosales, 34, Northeast 10th Avenue, was arrested March 14 and charged with possession of a counterfeit license plate. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • James Sweat, 73, Northwest 37th Avenue, was arrested March 16 by OCSO Gabe Greseth and charged with habitually driving without a license. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Tony Harlow, 24, Northwest 17th Avenue, was arrested March 16 by OCSO Deputy Brian Cross and charged with possession of cocaine. Bond was set at $5,000.
