HENDRY/GLADES COUNTIES — The Hendry-Glades Bar Association is a professional organization of attorneys practicing law in Hendry and Glades Counties. Part of the association’s mission is to support local students who wish to become attorneys.

In the past three years the association has awarded multiple students with scholarships to assist them through law school. They want to continue to assist local students with the high costs of a legal education.

Criteria for award of scholarships are that the student have graduated from high school in Hendry or Glades counties or have graduated from Florida Virtual School or home school while residing in Hendry or Glades Counties, and that the student be accepted to attend law school or already be attending law school.
