BELLE GLADE — It’s out of the tower and on the run as a zany cast of friends and foes help Rapunzel’s harrowing escape from the towering imprisonment of Madame Gothel. Add a dash of French flair and a pinch of personal triumph and friendship and you have a story you won’t forget!

Playing the title character, Rapunzel, are Payton Allen and Elyonna Padillo; Wyatt Allen and Curtis Edwards as the Princes; Nick Morris as Madame Gothel; David McClaskey, Alana Johnson, Solana Sharpe and Abigail Smith as the Wood Elves; Emily Sanchez as the Troll; Jazlyn Forrester and Madison Jackson as the Ears of Corn and Lucas Vallejo as the Potato. Appearing as the Mushrooms are Isaiah Mendoza, Isabella Mendoza, Mavis Vallejo, Teaghann Buff, Hazel Buff, Justyce Davis and Jetorian Davis. Payton Allen, Wyatt Allen, Curtis Jackson, Nick Morris, Elyonna Padilla, and Emily Sanchez are serving as Assistant Directors throughout the week.

Rapunzel will be presented at 7 p.m. at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center in Palm Beach State College on Friday, June 16. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children under 12 and are available at the Box Office in advance and at the door, day of performance.
