Auditions to be held for “Princess and the Pea” at the Dolly Hand

BELLE GLADE — Auditions will be held for the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) production of The Princess and the Pea on Monday, Sept. 11, at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center from 4 to 6 p.m. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:30 p.m. to pre-register and should plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Among the roles to be cast are the Princess, the Pea, King and Queen Size, Storm King and Snow Queen, the Prince, Jack Frost, the citizens of Riverdom and Glacierdom, Dust Bunnies, Princesses and Leprechauns. Currently enrolled students ages 5 to 18 years old are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, and props. MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week, a schedule will be given after audition.

The Princess and the Pea will be presented at 11:00 AM at the DHCAC at Palm Beach State College on Saturday, Sept. 16 Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for children under 12 and are available at the Box Office (561-993-1160).
