BELLE GLADE – Due to COVID-19 restrictions and to protect the health and safety of area senior citizens during the pandemic, the annual West County Senior Center Christmas & Hanukkah event has been modified to a drive-thru meal and gift distribution.
Seniors 60 and over will join us for a Senior Citizen Drive-thru Christmas & Hanukkah Celebration, Monday, Dec. 21, at noon. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and to keep our seniors healthy and safe, we are unable to host a sit-down Senior Citizens Holiday
Party this year. However, we will still offer our seniors a take-out meal and gifts provided by our community partners.
Attendees will enter from the southernmost driveway by following the cones and proceeding slowly to the designated tent. Attendees will stay in their cars where staffers will distribute the meals, gifts, water, etc. The center located at 2916 State Road 15 in Belle Glade.
