ORLANDO — On May 10, Vibra Urbana Music Festival announced its biggest artist lineup to date, bringing a diverse array of Latin music’s brightest stars and respected veterans to the stages for the festival’s Orlando debut. Following a sold-out presale in just a matter of hours, the festival organizers have delivered on the demand from fans across the Sunshine state, proudly adding a second day to the summer festival to further solidify Vibra Urbana’s presence as a top Latin and Reggaeton music festival in the United States. Ahead of its flagship multi-day event in Miami this December, Vibra Urbana Orlando 2021 will now showcase the sounds of one of the world’s fastest growing music genres at the Orlando Amphitheater on July 31 and August 1.

Bringing the vibes to the entertainment capital of the world, the 16 artists included on the phase one lineup combine for nearly 130 million monthly Spotify listeners. Leading the group is 2021 Latin Grammy nominee for Best New Artist and Puerto-Rican breakout star Rauw Alejandro, accompanied by Panamanian superstar singer Sech and iconic Reggaeton duo Zion y Lennox. Vibra Urbana Orlando will also feature some of the genre’s leading ladies including Mariah, whose collaboration with Karol G titled “El Makinon” was recently voted by fans as Billboard’s favorite Latina team-up of 2021 (so far), and leading Argentinian vocalist Emilia. The two-day, outdoor festival will also boast performances from Mora, Dalex, Alex Rose, Boza, and Eladio Carrion, among many other artists to be announced this Summer.

The full Vibra Urbana Orlando phase one lineup includes: Alex Rose, Boza, Dalex, Eix, Eladio Carrion, El Prefe, Emilia, LATENIGHTJIGGY, Marconi Impara, Mariah, Mario Duran, Mora, Omy de Oro, Rauw Alejandro, Sech, and Zion y Lennox.

As one of the very last live music festivals to have taken place in the United States prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the inaugural, sold-out edition of the festival held in February 2020 at the University of Miami’s Watsco Center was the result of a multi-year pursuit by the festival’s founders to bring a Latin music festival to the city of Miami. Turning a passion into the ambition of drive and business, the founding group of Miami natives are close knit with familial roots present all throughout the community. Vibra Urbana will return to Miami later this year at the Miami Dade County Fair & Expo Center on December 18-19, 2021.

After over a year since our last show as a result of the pandemic, our team wanted to make sure we delivered the most exciting and energetic festival for our fans. Being able to bring our Vibras to a second city in the Sunshine State makes us beyond excited,” says Javier Caso, Founder and Partner of Vibra Urbana. “We wanted to make sure we honored the multi-faceted essence of the genre as well as the diverse cultures by selecting a lineup that featured artists from different countries and provided varying sounds such as dancehall, reggaeton, trap, and dembow. Orlando and Miami, we can’t wait to party with you all!”

“I am beyond excited to be a part of this festival and putting together one of the biggest Reggaeton lineups of the year,” says Kirk Taboada, Head of Talent and Vibra Urbana Partner. “We are honored to be bringing some of the biggest and brightest names in the genre with Rauw Alejandro and Sech, along with one of the legendary groups in reggaeton, Zion Y Lennox. It has always been a dream of mine to do a reggaeton festival here in my home state. Orlando, I hope you’re ready for us!”

Tickets for Vibra Urbana Orlando go on sale beginning this Friday, May 14 at 10 AM EST. Additional lineup news for the festival will also be shared in the coming weeks. Fans can visit www.vibraurbanafest.com to sign up for updates to be the first to receive the news.
