Project Front Line Gratitude provide meals for CCSO deputies

Posted

Immokalee - Deputies in Immokalee recently dined on some free Mediterranean cuisine from Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen. Kareem’s Lebanese Kitchen serves delicious, authentic Lebanese cuisine in Naples.

Chef Rachid Eido, of Kareem’s, was happy to be part of the project, “It was a pleasure to provide 25 meals to the police officers in Immokalee. It is our pleasure to team up with the The Mahaan Aasha Foundation and OHM Jewelry by Heather Matjasic and provide meals for the Project Front Line Gratitude benefiting professionals in our community who work at the front line of this pandemic.”

OHM Jewelry, in partnership with The Mahaan Aasha Foundation Project Frontline Gratitude, raised the money for the meals given to the deputies. OHM Jewelry’s, Heather Matjasic has been very involved in working throughout the Immokalee community over the past 3 years, and wanted to make sure their deputies were shown how much they are appreciated.

“Thank you Collier County Sheriff’s Office & all frontline workers,” Matjasic posted on Facebook.

“We’re stepping up to help Naples during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Great Hope Foundation has created “Project Front Line Gratitude” to thank Naples’ front line workers while supporting local restaurants. How it works: Purchase a meal for a hospital employee working in the front line. Each meal is $10. Meals are all ordered from local Naples restaurants,” The Mahaan Aasha Foundation wrote, regarding the Project Frontline Gratitude.
