• Okeechobee Main Street will hold their annual meeting on Tuesday, May 18, at noon, at the Brown Cow Sweetery, 103 S.W. Park St.

• Join OKMS for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Premia Fitness located at 814 S.R. 70 E. (in the Popeye’s Plaza) in Okeechobee, on Tuesday, May 11, at 4:30 p.m.

• OKMS’s Art & Wine Walk on Park Street will take place on Saturday, June 19, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Great date night and friends night out in Downtown Okeechobee. Must be 21 years old and older to participate. Ticket holders eligible for raffle prizes from businesses and artists. This casual summer experience will take guests through participating businesses located in Okeechobee on Park Street. Each business will have a featured artist showcasing their art work. Businesses will offer guests wine and beverage tasting, appetizers and promotional offers. Tickets on sale at OKMS Office located at 111 N.E. Second Street or visit www.OkeechobeeArts.org.

• OKMS is happy to welcome more community partners: Silver Level - Beautiful Mess Boutique and The Purple Orchid; Bronze Level - Ag 98 Trailer Sales, Andrea Noelle’s Boutique, Lehman Auto Body, Mira Realty, LLC and Premia Fitness Okeechobee; Non-Profit Level - Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida; Friends & Family - Elizabeth (Jane) McNierney.

• The New Arts & Culture Alliance Website is now live at www.OkeechobeeArts.org. The Arts & Culture Alliance invites you to take a look around.

• Summer Fun Art Classes presented by Fawn McNeill Barr, BFA will offer classes at the Okeechobee Arts & Culture Alliance Art Center on Monday and Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. For ages six years old and up. Classes will feature drawings, acrylic, watercolor paintings, color challenges, art history and more. Classes held in the Summer One course will be held June 7-29 for four weeks. Summer Two classes will be held from July 12 through Aug. 3 for four weeks. You must RSVP to attend classes. Contact Fawn directly at 863-634-0241 to sign-up and receive your registration packet.
