Kids receive toys at Montura Christmas Festival

Posted

CLEWISTON — Iglesia Vida Nueva held their ninth annual Christmas Festival at the Montura Ranch Clubhouse. Due to COVID-19 this year, a team of volunteers along with Pastor Landy and Maritza Posadas decided to make the festival a drive-thru to be socially responsible. Each car went to different stations to register and get their food and toys. The festival was completely free. There were games that could be played from the car while kids waited and Disney characters plus Santa came out to say hi to the kids and give out candy, smaller toys and balloons. Iglesia Vida Nueva was able to bless about 500 children with free toys.

All of this couldn’t have happened without the help of an amazing team of volunteers and sponsors: The Howard E. Hill Foundation and Central County Water Control District. A huge thank you to them.
