GMA Dove Award winner and GRAMMY® Award nominee Jekalyn Carr is coming to the Dolly Hand! She has spent half a decade at the helm of gospel music charts. As a top selling recording artist, Jekalyn Carr has earned eight career Billboard #1’s before the age of 21, including hit singles “You’re Bigger” and “You Will Win”.

Jekalyn was a highly sought-after speaker at the tender age of 13. She has never shied away from her true calling of delivering messages of positivity, hope and the celebration of her faith to audiences around the country. Her messages are always warmly received by audiences everywhere. She has graced stages at colleges, conferences, churches and organizations of all sizes and note.

At the age of 15, her speaking shifted to song when her single “Greater Is Coming” broached Billboard’s Gospel Music Top Ten chart debuting at number three. The wonderment of this achievement was manifold as Jekalyn was not only a teenager, she was and remains an independent artist. Adding to her spectacular introduction to the gospel music industry, Jekalyn received her first Stellar Award at the age of 16. The Billboard’s Top 5 single, “Greater Is Coming” is still being performed nearly a decade later. Her new album, “Changing Your Story” was recently released.

Ever evolving, Jekalyn debuted with a featured role on the OWN Television Network series “Greenleaf” and expanded her acting experience in the feature film, “Never Heard”. Her entry into the literary marketplace was heralded by her debut release “You Will Win! Inspirational Strategies To Help You Overcome” which was released in conjunction with the #1 song by the same title and premise. In “You Will Win!”, Carr shares some of her most poignant and riveting exhortations, inspirational messages, pointers and strategies to promote a victorious life.

The performance at the Dolly Hand is on Saturday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $30 adults, $15 for children/Palm Beach State students and staff.
