OKEECHOBEE - Thanks to the dedication of Doug and Carolyn Windham, some of the roads in Dixie Ranch Acres are looking cleaner. Each day as they take their morning and afternoon walks, the couple brings along garbage bags and picks up trash along the roads. Neighbors are sad there is a need for this, wondering why people cannot hold onto their trash until they get home, but they are grateful to the Windhams for their hard work.
