CHS Tigers soon to become Seminoles

Posted

CLEWISTON - Seven hardworking seniors at Clewiston High School (CHS) applied and were accepted to Florida State University (FSU). The CHS students were excited and proud as their achievements were announced.

“We would like to congratulate the seven pictured Clewiston High School Collegiate members of the class of 2021 who found out yesterday that they were accepted to Florida State University (FSU).  With an acceptance rate of only 36%, FSU is the second most difficult public university in the state of Florida to be accepted to,” announced Clewiston High School. “Not only did seven CHS Collegiate students get accepted to FSU this year, but not many more applied, meaning that a great majority of CHS Collegiate’s FSU applicants were accepted. With our increasing acceptances from some of the best Universities in the state of Florida, it seems that the members of the Florida University system are learning what we already knew, that the city of Clewiston, our school system, and our students are pretty special.”

“We could not be more proud of these young men and women as they venture out into the world. We would like them to know that Clewiston High School and the entire community of Clewiston is behind them and wishes them the very best!” CHS added.
