Big O Teen Anglers host third tournament of the year

OKEECHOBEE — The Big O Teen Anglers held their third tournament of the 2021 year out of Okee-Tantie on March 27. This month’s tournament included 25 anglers catching a total of 37 bass for combined weight of 68.06 pounds.

The largest bass caught was by Jacob Williams 6.03 pounds. Great job Jacob!

This month’s standings were as follows:

9-12 age group
• First place - Lane James 10.54 pounds;

• Second place - Jacob Williams 8.55 pounds and Big Fish at 6.03 pounds;
• Third place - Austin Crum 5.39 pounds.

13-19 age group
• First place - Ragyn Mohney 12.99 pounds and Big Fish at 4.34 pounds;
• Second place - Rafe Sexton 5.49 pounds;

• Third place - Brayden Crawford 5 pounds.

Every month boat captains volunteer their Saturday morning to take the youth anglers fishing. The teen anglers thank: Terry Seabolt, Billy Ellerbee, Jim Newell, Josh Clay, Raul Martinez, Kim LaFave, Stephane Betterley, David Mohney, Benjamin Gray, Marc Williams, Buster McMillan. David Trent, Adam Crum, Marshall Comfort, David Diehl and Jerry Brown.
