OKEECHOBEE — A 77-year-old man was killed in a three-vehicle accident Tuesday evening at approximately 6 p.m. in Okeechobee County according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol,
According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, two pickup trucks were traveling northbound on U.S. 441 when a third pickup truck exited the Dollar General parking lot at Northwest 30th Lane, reportedly pulling into traffic in front of the first truck and causing all three trucks to collide. The driver of the third pickup was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The driver of the first truck, a 48-year-old man received minor injuries. The driver of the second truck, a 20-year old man, received minor injuries. His 17-year old female passenger and 10-year-old female passenger both received minor injuries.
The accident is still under investigation.
