Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

• Jose Banuelos Jr., 27, Southeast 57th Drive, was arrested Dec. 30 by OCSO after reportedly passing another vehicle in a no passing zone and was charged with DUI. His breathalyzer results were reportedly 0.261 and 0.261. His bond was set at $2,500.

• Osiel Brito, 22, Northwest 30th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO after reportedly driving 20 miles above the speed limit, weaving erratically along the roadway and almost running into a ditch. He was charged with DUI, failure to obey law enforcement order to stop and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $4,000.

• Thad Chandler, 26, Northeast Third Lane, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,500.

• Carla Shrout, 42, Southeast 23rd Court, was arrested Dec. 31 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $3,000.

• Elizabeth Turner, 35, Palm City, was arrested Dec. 31 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $10,500.

• Rachael Hennon, 29, Northeast 48th Avenue, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO and charged with grand theft of a firearm and dealing in stolen property. Bond was set at $5,000.

• Matthew Raynor, 39, Southeast 23rd Court, was arrested Dec. 31 by ONTF and charged with possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of fentanyl, two counts possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court. Bond was set at $20,500.

• Dwan Marshall Jr., 23, Northeast Second Street, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO and charged with violation of probation on the charges of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and burglary. He is being held without bond.

• Anallely Maldonado, 19, State Road 70 West, was arrested Dec. 31 by OCSO and charged with failure to obey law enforcement order to stop and operating a motor vehicle without a license after reportedly driving through town at speeds up to 107 mph around 9:30 p.m. On Thursday night. When she finally stopped, she reportedly told Deputy Richard Varnadore she knew she should have stopped but decided to run because her passengers coaxed her into it. The four female passengers, three adults and one juvenile, were not charged. Maldonado’s bond was set at $4,000.

• Aaron Locklear, 32, Fort Pierce, was arrested Jan. 4 by OCSO and charged with the sale/manufacture/delivery of schedule I or II drugs. Bond was set at $15,000.

• Sandra Maddigan, 52, Southeast 23rd Court, was arrested Jan. 4 by OCSO and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $11,000.

• Nicole Fortier, 41, Northwest 50th Avenue, was arrested Jan. 5 by OCSO and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,500.

• James Choquette, 46, Southwest 23rd Street, was arrested Jan. 6 by ONTF and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. Bond was set at $5,000.
