The LaBelle Youth Livestock Rabbit and Cavy Show was held on Monday, February 8. The show was sponsored by LaBelle Ranch Supply. Exhibitors were judged on the Danish system using blue, red and white ribbons for each rabbit and cavy entry.

The pee-wee exhibitors, Weston Lavender, Jasper Perkins, and Ty Pledger received blue ribbons for their participation, and they all did fantastic showing off their rabbits.

Junior, Intermediate and Senior exhibitors may show more than one rabbit. Receiving blue ribbons for their entry in the Rabbit division were Brenden Cruz (1) and Brandon Perkins (2). Brenden Cruz captured Grand Champion with his Mix doe with Brandon Perkins receiving Reserve Champion with his Mix buck. Brenden Cruz was achieved first place in the Junior Showmanship category and Brandon Perkins captured first place in the Intermediate Showmanship category.

Junior, Intermediate and Senior exhibitors may show more than one cavy. Receiving blue ribbons for their entry in the Cavy division were Zackary Dalrymple (2) and Shawn Martin (2). Zackary Dalrymple was awarded Grand Champion with his American boar with Shawn Martin winning Reserve Champion with her American sow. Shawn Martin took first place in the Junior Showmanship category with Zackary Dalrymple capturing first place in the Intermediate Showmanship category.
