NAPLES- A traffic stop in Golden Gate led to the arrests of two convicted felons on multiple felony drug charges Monday night, the Collier County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reported.

According to CCSO arrest reports, “Kassandra Sue Stephens, 29, and Rudy Mario Perez, 36, both of 3786 White Lake Blvd Unit, were passengers in a green four-door sedan that nearly struck a dump truck and an SUV on Interstate 75 shortly after 9 p.m. Deputies pulled over the sedan at Immokalee and Livingston roads and conducted a traffic stop.”

While investigating, CCSO deputies discovered a large amount of narcotics with Stephens and Perez.

“Stephens is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine 14 grams or more, possession of a controlled substance – fentanyl, possession of a controlled substance – Adderall, and possession of narcotic paraphernalia,” CCSO explained. “Perez is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of crack cocaine, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and obstruction.”
