Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo takes place March 11-14

ARCADIA — The Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust 93rd Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, sponsored in part by Discover DeSoto, is set for Thursday through Sunday, March 11-14.  Gates open each day at 11 a.m. The Arcadia Saddle Club Quadrille team performs at 1 p.m. Mutton bustin at 1:30 p.m. where kids ages 4 to 6 ride sheep and rodeo action begins at 2 p.m. 

Rodeo Night on the Harbor
On Saturday night, March 6 , TT’s Tiki Bar Charlotte Harbor in Punta Gorda will host  Rodeo Night on the Harbor promotional event with Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda. Meet the cowboys and cowgirls behind the Arcadia Rodeo Association! From 5 to 7 p.m., come test your cowboy skills with steer roping and goat tying practice dummies, stick-horse barrel racing, saddled horse rides and rodeo trivia, with many opportunities to win free tickets to our Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust 93rd Annual Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, sponsored in part by Discover DeSoto. TT’s Tiki Bar will be open for food, drinks, and entertainment.

The Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo Quick Description
Arcadia All-Florida Championship Rodeo, Inc. is a non-profit organization that dates back to 1952. It is the oldest rodeo organization in the state of Florida which has evolved from its pioneer beginnings to a national sport drawing top cowboy athletes from all over the nation. Events include the March Rodeo, Arcadia Youth Rodeo Association (7 rodeo series, 170 local kids participate), Memorial Day Barrel Race, Fall PRCA Rodeo, Hispanic Festivals, etc. The Arcadia Rodeo donates approximately $60,000 per year locally in the form of grants and scholarships.
