KEC Canal Point Elementary leaders honored

WEST PALM BEACH — Four regional principal and assistant principal finalists, the business community, and school district leaders will join together virtually to celebrate the achievements of each finalist, with one outstanding principal and assistant principal being named as the School District of Palm Beach County’s 2019-2020 Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year on Jan. 28 at 4 p.m.

Finalists for Principal of the year include Adreinne Howard from U.B. Kinsey/Palmview Elementary; Phillip D’Amico of Watson B. Duncan Middle School; Rachel Capitano of Done Estridge High Tech Middle School; and, Derrick Hibler of K.E. Cunningham Canal Point Elementary School. The Principal of the Year will advance as the representative of the Palm Beach County School District in the State-wide Principal of the Year competition.

Assistant Principal of the Year finalists are Justin Arnone of Palm Beach Central High School; Andrea Walker of Lincoln Elementary; Jeannie Placil of Banyan Creek Elementary and Altoria Henley of K.E. Cunningham Elementary.
